Horween ‘Boondocker’ (Type III Service Shoe) leather

September 27, 2012 § 3 Comments

After visiting Horween a while back, me and Nick(Horween) got talking about boot leathers and making him a pair of boots. He ended up making the same Spec’d WW2 leather, which we then used to make him a version of a ‘Boondocker’(Type III Service Shoe) . You can read about the history of the leather and Horween supplying US Army here, quite interesting story.
